You can walk in 10-15 minutes to the Colosseum and to Ancient Rome. This area also contains the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Tomb of Nero and the Palatine Hill.
When you walk another ten minutes, you have already arrived at Piazza Venezia. This is the most central square of Rome!
From this point, 90% of the remaining tourist sites are within walking distance.
But that is not all!
Just two minutes from Sleeping Beauty, you find one of the most important churches in the world, the Saint John's Cathedral, the former home of the Pope.
You absolutely have to visit this cathedral when you are in Rome. The sacred Scala Santa is also kept here.

Public Transport:

If you like to travel fast, you can enjoy the excellent connections with public transport.
The nearest bus-stop is in our street! Here the bus takes you to the Colosseum in less then 5 minutes, or to Piazza Venezia in less then 10 minutes.
The number 3 bus travels directly to Trastevere, a famous area with many restaurants.
There are two stops of line A of the underground nearby: San Giovanni and Manzoni.
The nearest stop is San Giovanni, only two minutes from Sleeping Beauty.

With the underground you arrive at the following important tourist sites:

• REPUBBBLICA, for Via Nazionale, (important shopping street): 5 minutes
• BARBERINI, for Trevi Fountain and Villa Borghese: 6 and-a-half minutes
• SPAGNA, for Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori: 8 minutes
• FLAMINIO, for Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese: 10 minutes
• LEPANTO, for Castel St. Angelo, (the Angel Fort): 12 minutes
• OTTAVIANO, for Saint Peter’s and Vatican: 14 minutes.

When you arrive at Sleeping Beauty, you will receive a free city map and lots of advice. You will become an expert on public transport in Rome in 10 minutes :)
